Can you return free bumper?

I already bought a 3rd party case, so I have no use for another free bumper or case. I'm hoping I can request a free bumper and it will come in its original packaging. If it does, I'm guessing I could take it to an Apple store and at least get store credit for it. Do you think that will work?

I did pay $25 for a case last week! But I'm not getting any compensation for that.

They said if you already bought one, they'd refund your money.
