iPod touch Can you run the same apps in one iTunes on two iPods?

The title may be confusing but this is important. I have recently gotten an iPod touch, and my brother has one also. He has bought a ton of apps that I want and offered him money for seeing as he bought them, but I was wondering can I sync my iPod to the SAME iTunes as his, download the SAME applications he has on his iPod Touch, and not have to worry about him not being able to access them on his iPod? Sorry if it seems confusing but if someone could answer that'd be great.
