i'm using the steinheil ultra optics and i like it but i wanna try another one. the thing is i don't wanna just throw it out cause it's a waste of money. is there a way to take off the screen protector and save it some how? or will it like ruin the protector?

Usually you can "save" them by taking it off and putting the screen protector (sticky side down) on some sort of non stick surface. I've heard of people using wax paper, report covers (the thin plastic ones) and I've even slapped one of my protectors on the bathroom mirror (temporarily) until I got the screen protector thing sorted out. You'll undoubtedly get some lint/dust on the protector whenever you do this but that can be fixed with some Scotch tape.

As saving protectors became too much a hassle for me, I simply stocked up on eBay protectors and now throw the old ones out and slap new ones on.

I put static screen protectors on the sticky side of a piece of clear tape. They won't adhere to the tape but dirt does, they come out as new. I have stored them this way for weeks without problems.

Okay so I bought acouple Verizon screen protectors which honestly I think are really good ha. They're cut short so it fits. And I just took like the back part of those protectors and put my steinheil protector on that. Hopefully it'll stay.

if you reuse them right away, you can. however, if you try to save it for later, you can't.

i've reapplied screen protectors from phone to phone immediately and it works perfectly. i tried to save it for later on the temporary sheet, no go. dust everywhere.
