At the moment there seems to be some sort of data network issue in MK and my phone won't get any data. When trying to send a message via iMessage the phone will sit there saying 'sending'. If I could cancel it then I could choose send as text, but you can't. You just have to wait until it fails before you get that option. Is there a way I can shorten the time it takes to try and send? It sits there saying 'sending' for ages.

Thanks for any tips

Hi, yes I know that but if you don't do it in time then the phone sits there trying to send and there's nothing you can do until its failed. What i was asking is if you can shorten the time it keeps trying to send via iMessage

As long as you are using an iPhone you could just turn iMessage off in the message settings for now until the network issues are fixed. Saves the hassle of the iMessage timing out then sending as a text anyway.
