Can you share your desktop screen over FaceTime?

I know you can do this over the iPhone/iPad but was curious if this is possible to do while using a Mac?

Absolutely, this has been a feature for many years. Use the Messages app.

Thanks, but what about sharing your screen over FaceTime.app on macOS? I want to be able to be on video call while sharing my screen. I already knew you can do it through the message app.

Yes, you should be able to Use SharePlay to share screens in FaceTime on Mac with the latest Monterey 12.1 update. Haven't tried it yet though.
