Are there ways to skin the toolbars in safari , or mail?

Shapeshifter is a pretty good, all-around skinning program. Note: not Leopard compatible as of yet.

Shapeshifter uses 'Application Enhancer' (or something like that), which screws up your system and makes upgrading to Leopard a nightmare. The skins available are also 'meh'.

I'd avoid their products.
