im curious, I have the iPhone 8 and my wife has a 6S. She needs a new phone but doesn’t want a large screen. She is upgrade eligible but I’m not. Can we swap phones in such a way that I could upgrade her 6S to an XR in my name and she can use my 8?

Should be able too, I do it on Verizon all the time.
