iPod Can you sync a shared library?

I have a macbook pro.

Can I plug in my pc-formatted ipod to a macbook pro, and then sync with my itunes library on a networked desktop pc?

I think that I answered my own question. I sync with my pc's library while plugging into my macbook. the two are connected via wireless LAN.
