Can you sync an iPhone with a different AppleID than your Mac/Windows machine?

Suppose I have an iPhone with a US AppleID and I have another iPhone with an EU AppleID. Can I sync the iPhone with the EU AppleID with my Mac with my US AppleID? For example, music? Or must the AppleIDs and regions match?
