iPod touch Can you Sync specific Events from iPhoto?

Just got my new iPod Touch for Valentine's Day and I love it! My question is, is there any way to sync specific photo Events from iPhoto to the iPod? It seems I have very few choices which makes keeping my iPod clean difficult. It only gives options by when the photos were imported. I want some but not all of the events that were imported over the past 12 months. Is it possible to sync only certain events or albums?
