I want to trade in my iphone 6+ for an 8+. Will Apple let me use my gift card the same day I bring in my old iphone and use it towards my new iphone 8+?

Yes always. No matter how good or bad condition your phone is in, if it works, you get the same amount. That’s why I never try.

Can the gift be used with a Verizon installment plan? I remember trading in an old 5s a few years ago and they didn't let me apply it then. I'm wondering if this has changed.
