Can you transfer game saves from an iPhone to a Touch?

I have my iPhone 3GS with several games on it. I recently got a Touch also. I know I can transfer those games to the Touch, but what about my saved points/spots? I Baseball Slugger 3D I am highly deep into and don't want to start another player from scratch. Can I transfer the info from one to the other?

You should be able to restore the Touch from a backup of your iPhone. I think it is possible. (I don't have a touch to try with though...)

The backup is where your saved games would all be.
