Anyone haev any idea how/if that's possible? Long story short is that my wife has a 2G with the $20 unlimited/200 text data plan, but we are going to add on another iPhone. However, I would like to apply the unlimited plan we currently have to the NEW phone and then cut her phone back to the 200MB $15/month plan.

Anyoen know if that's allowed? (my guess is no).

Nope.

Everyone who upgraded to the 3G was required to pay the $30 plan. <<press release>>

So if you upgrade to the iPhone 4 you'll need to get a 3G compatible plan.
-but-
The $20 unlimited or $30 unlimited plans no longer exist, as far as we are concerned.

Sorry.

Ah well, I probably wouldn't use that much data anyway, so I'll just have to go with the base 200MB plan and keep an eye on my data to bump up to the 2GB if necessary.
