Can you turn iCloud tabs off?

Can someone clarify if it possible to turn iCloud tabs off?

Only way I know how is to turn off safari your icloud settings. But then your bookmarks won't sync if u use another iOS or osx product

Doesn't the feature use a button to send your tabs across to other devices? So you could just not use it?

No. If you have safari sync on in iCloud if will sync all of your open tabs across ios and osx mountain lion devices. Kind of annoying to be honest. Hope they give us the option to keep safari bookmark sync on but turn iCloud tabs off.

Are you saying it automatically syncs them? Cause that's not true. You can just not use the feature. The button does take up a bit of space in safari, but that's the only annoyance.

does anyone think that when the final version of ios 6 and mountain lion come out you will be able 2 sync tabs on safari windows? I hope so and I don't see why it wouldn't as it supports reading list other things from last year.
