Can you turn off Calender shortcut/hyperlink in iMessage?

Any way to turn off the hyperlink every time I send/receive "tonight" or "Monday", etc.?

I mean, I'm a big proponent of staying organized, but I don't need to create a calendar event every time someone asks me what I'm "up to tonight"...
