Can you turn off slide to unlock and keep fingerprint?

I thought you could do this but I can't seem to figure out exactly how to go about setting it up. I set up my fingerprints but every time I go to turn on the phone I still have to slide to unlock. Was I mistaken?

You don't have to slide to unlock. Just keep your finger on the button and presto! Unlocked...

Got it thanks. I was looking all over and couldn't find the right answer. I just figured it out how to do it. Pretty cool. Love this phone.
