Can you use a Mac book leopard cd to upgrade a mac mini?

Hello! me again!

Well i have a new problem.

My friend took pitty on my poor situation (little ramspace) and gave me his leopard cd for his Macbook.

well i put it in and restated the computer and it said it can't work on my computer.

now i have an intel core duo with 512 mb of ram and it's 667MHz

i think i meet all the qualifications.... i think right?

Any suggestions?

They are machine type specific
