For various reasons I prefer to use Entourage as my default e-mail client, but although I have set Entourage to be my default email client in Preferences whenever another application tries to send an automated email (Such as iCal for an alarm) then it tries to open Mail which is not set up...

Does anyone know if its possible to change this? I don't like being forced to use Mail.

Thanks for the response... Unfortunately no joy.

First I tried to do it the easy way - nothing changed... Then I tried the "Hard Way" still no joy - Is this a problem with my specific system of a Snow Leopard issue?

Any help would be appreciated :apple:

I'm wondering if it may have to do with the following Snow Leopard Issue:... http://www.macworld.com/article/142937/2009/09/snowfiles.html The article basically explains how in Snow Leopard files that are created in a specific program may not necessarily be opened by the same program that created the file like it used to in all the previous versions of OS X and Tiger, and Panther (Go Figure)...

Is anyone else having this problem?
