Can you use bluetooth headphones with the iPhone4?

It sucks when using corded headphones during a workout, or basketball game. they keep falling out. Before the iPhone, with my BlackJack2, I was able to use a set of BT Headphones. I could throw em' on and place my phone out of harms way on the sideline. Oh how I miss those days.

Does anyone know if the iPhone4 will allow us to use bluetooth headphones?

Yes. You can already use them with the 3GS.
 
Why of course they do!:)

I just hope that Apple and Infiniti have it together and my new iPhone4 plays nice with my M56S!

You've been a forum member for a year and you don't know that iPhone has ad2p tech? Been living in a hole for that year?

No you don't need to jb. Not sure you're getting up and down the floor coverage with your phone sitting on the s/l. I use freedom hp by Jaybirds. Sweat proof, sound good, no problems.
 
They do support A2DP, but the iPhone 3GS only has limited support for AVRCP. This means that a lot of the controls on BT headphones for skipping forward and back do not work. I've heard that this has not changed with the new iOS version.

I've been a member for a year...since last launch...
That's the only reason I'm on here now...

you seem to be the one living in a "hole" lol

Now the next question for you guys would be...

what would be the BT headphones to get?
(most cost effective... which have quality but are not too over priced...)

I REALLY HOPE APPLE GOT ITS STUFF TOGETHER AND IMPLEMENTED AVRCP FULLY!
It sucks using the 3GS and only being able to play/pause. I need to skip tracks, doesn't work on my kenwood car stereo and with my s9-HD headphones.
Strangely, play and pause only worked for me once i jailbroke and added music controls. And im not even referring to pandora, it wouldn't pause any of my playback without that installed,,,weird.
 
I can't get the S9-HD's to stay in my ears for some reason. The sides hurt my ears (yes they are on the right way). Nice idea though... I got them for something like $15.00 with the Bluetooth adapter...
 
I remember after the Apple Bluetooth earpiece was disco'ed, there were rumours of a 'vastly new and improved' Apple branded stereo Bluetooth headset. Still nothing, and I still love my Apple Bluetooth earpiece... LOVE IT!
