Can you use pictures for album art (iTunes)?

Itunes for Windows:

I am importing some CDs into iTunes that it won't be able to find album art for. Is it possible to import any graphic to use for album art?

Or - is it possible to do this for a playlist?

You can add any image you like. But you can only tag artwork to actual files, not for playlists.

Just select the album, open Get Info (CTRL+I) and then there is the ARTWORK section and onto that you just drag the image of your choice.

I always manually add high-quality artwork from sites such as Album Artwork Exchange or Google searches, rather than let iTunes download it.
