Can you use Retina Macbook Pro SSD as External Hard Drive? How?

The SSD in the Retina Macbook Pro isnt a standard 2.5 incher that could be used in a 2.5'' enclosure, but is there some other type of enclosure/adapter that could be used if I were to take the SSD out and want to connect it via usb to another mac/desktop/etc so that I could use it as an external hard drive?
 
OWC make an enclosure for these though I don't know if they only sell them as a package - ie with the SSD upgrade.
It's a neat little thing and looks great too.
