Does anybody know if you can use the magic track pad for drawing? Im looking to use it with InDesign and Illustrator, using a stylus on the track pad to free hand draw into the program. Does anybody know if this would work do that?

I have not used it with the programs you reference, but I have tried Google Sketchup V7/V8 and ViaCAD V7. My comment is ... Ugh. It takes more time that I want to give it to get precise positioning. I found myself "rolling" my finger over left/right trying to get the object I was working on to "hit" the right position. If someone makes a stylus that would work with the touchpad, it might work better.

it does work (not as good as a proper graphics tablet) - I used my Alu Pen stylus that I got for drawing on my ipad and its not too bad at all.

is the one I have an I've found it very handy.

I would not want to use it all the time but for those freehand/delicate parts its better than mouse.

:)
