Canada - iPhone 4 Customs Query

Hello All,

Well, one of my friend in Canada is scheduled to visit my Country early next month. So if I tell my friend to buy 2 iPhone 4's (Factory Unlocked) for me and get it with him - is he likely to encounter any custom issues at the Canadian airport?

If yes, then if I tell him to unbox one of the iPhone and keep it with himself and keep one sealed in the suitcase, is that fine? Although I'm not keen on this.

Departing shouldn't be a problem it is arriving where you pay customs
