Canada iPod availability...

I wonder if Canada will start getting the new iPod's this friday as with the US...or if we are too international. Usually stuff released in the US comes out at the same time here. Anyways....I just want my 30 gig to come faster (Already ordered).

Ahh so they are shipping them to Canada before the "international week".

I did not order mine from the Apple site, but rather from a macintosh dealer.

I ordered mine through 1800-MY-APPLE and they said it'll take 3-5 days to ship the product and then another 8-12 days for standard shipping(free). Sales did offer me faster shipping with 5 days($12cdn) but I can wait another 4 days on top.

just some add info... I enquired about the iPod first from my College Bookstore (Seneca) and they wanted $572, which is good considering market price of $599, but for some reason I was compelled to call Apple, and they sold it at $549.

This is odd, it keeps going from "Open" to "Shipped", back to "Open." When it is marked "Shipped", I check the FedEx number it gave me, and it says no record found.

Now says Priority International Shipping, it's in Toronto (I'm in Barrie), will be here by noon tomorrow.
