Hey,
through a number of strange coincidences, I am now the new owner of an iPhone 3Gs. I'm having a lot of difficulties to unlock it, but have now found a rather complicated way. However, this way requires a SIM card from the original provider from which the phone was bought for activation of the phone.
An Apple technician told me that my iPhone is from Canada and was originally sold by Bell. This leads to two questions:
1) Can I use a prepaid Bell SIM to activate the phone?
2) If yes, what is the best way to buy a Bell prepaid SIM and let it ship to Germany (that's where I'm now)? Is there any nice online shop that sells SIM only packages and ships to Europe?
Thanks for your advice, dear Canadians :)

Hey,
I only need the card for activation (you need a SIM from the provider that originally sold the phone). I sure enough won't be using it to make a call ;)
