Canadian Buy from US Apple Store

I'm a Canadian and want to buy a refurbished macbook from apple.com store. I have a friend in the US where i ship all my things from ebay to. My credit card also has his address as a shipping address. Will it work if I put his address in the billing address since his address is on my credit card, its just not the billing address for my card? Has anybody done this before? Any suggestions?
