Hi everyone. I'm not trying to start a bashing thread here, as I continue to use and quite like Canon equipment, and up until this point have had decent-to-good experiences with them. I am trying to serve as a warning to those who live in Canada and are thinking about sending their professional photography equipment in for repair, however. I apologize for the length, but I'm trying to cover everything.

It appears you are not trying to start a bashing thread on several other forums as well...
1) 6000.00+ purchase price and you did not inspect it..??
2) Where did you buy it from..?? and why not simply return it...?
