Canadian service provider support question

hi all,, i am new to the site here and so ia am going to ask my foirst question.
will there be proper support for any canadian service provider questions?

i have a canadian provider iphone4,, i am done with the contract and have the phone still locked with them.. am i able to unlock
(either factory/provider) without their support?

If its Rogers or Fido locked, they will unlock for $50, Bell/Virgin for $75 and Telus or Koodo will unlock for $35. The only other way to unlock with out the carrier support is eBay.

Not true, this guy http://nkapoor124.com/ has unlocked several phones for me. He does Telus.

checked the link and there doesn't seem to be a listing for my carrier..

any suggestions to searching on ebay for the unlock software, if u can point me in the right direction..
