Has anyone had the problem of being unable to update their credit card (expiry date)?
PS PLEASE don't tell me how to do it.I was with Apple for 40 years.
Apple Support steadfastly slogs through the same procedure every time. Whether through IOS or Mac OS, you cannot delete/update a CC# if you have subscriptions.
You either need to cancel your subscriptions or use a different *additional* CC. My wife had this problem and Apple deleted the CC number so that she could update it. Now I have the same problem, and support does not seem to understand the difference between
"how do I do this" versus "the procedure doesn't work". They also told me that they can't delete the number, nor can they find anyone who knows about this

Add a new credit card, make it your preferred card and then delete the original card.
