why? starting at $5K, I still struggle to see the value when the quest 3 provides more bang for the buck. I could buy my friends and family their own headsets for the same price as 1 vision pro and have more value

No one’s questioning the better value of the quest 3 for sure.

Introducing this product has never been about " Value". it is a superior experience , the quality of the Quest 3 is not even in the same league. If you want one for gaming then quest 3 is your choice. If you want the better display, features and Apple ecosystem integration, then Vision Pro is your device.
