I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone, especially Canadians (since I am from there and shopping for RAM) who are ready to purchase a new MB/MBP and are planning to bump the RAM themselves after.

Well to be honest I would upgrade from Apple. They are giving 4GB at a very reasonable price, $150 (or ~$140 w/ edu discount). Just browsing...
"CanadaRam" the new MB/MBP 4GB kit is going for $256
"CanadaComputers" OCZ 4GB kit is going for $169.99
"Newegg Canada" OCZ 4GB kit is going for $200+

So anyways just wanted to let people know that it may not be such a bad idea for you to upgrade the RAM when ordering directly from Apple since I know before it was a big no no according to the forum members.

Oh and I'm sure prices will go down eventually but I guess you will have to play another "waiting game".

Congrats on everyone who got their new MB/MBPs and those about to order!
Everyone keep posting pics :D
