Is it possible, or does anyone know of a tweak/app/program/whatever that allows you to cancel sending of a text and/or MMS?

It works fine and You're correct I think bitesms is the only app that can stop a text.
if possible turn on the airplane mode real quick
Or you could also smash your iPhone violently on the ground before the text is sent.
I'm quite happy with the stock SMS app, aside from this problem. BiteSMS is not exactly what I want or need.

By the time you got to Airplane Model the text would have already sent. With an MMS it could work but sounds like a hassle. Also wouldn't it just continue to send once you turn Airplane Mode off?

i felt the same untill i tried BiteSMS, it doesnt barely change much from the stock look, have you given it a chance?
What exactly is BiteSMS, I've never heard of it. Does it require a jailbreak? I don't think I want it but just curious.

Being able to send and respond to texts from the lockscreen or anywhere for that matter is awesome! Especially on older devices where it can take a bit of time before the SMS app opens.
There is no cancel.
Once you hit send its out, you cant stop it.

Why? this should be a simple feature. I'll look over Bitesms again but i actually like the way apple handles things in that dept. There are tweaks for everything but not this? Why is it not included in the stock app?
There is never and probably wont be tweaks or packages that alter the way the stock iOS works.
Not with factory firmware.
have you tired confimSMS, doesnt give the cancel feature but it doesn make your confirm sending so you get a second chance to change your mind
