Cancel ATT Order?

Hi,

I ordered an iPhone 4 through ATT store on 29th and want to cancel my order as the phone is still in back-order and Apple Store has my phone now.

How do I cancel the order? And how long does it take to reflect the cancellation?

Secondly, does ATT store do a credit check for the order? And when I activate my phone from Apple, will the credit check be done again?
