Cancel Contract in Apple Store?

Hi, I'm planning on getting a 6+ soon. I have a 5S right now that's in the middle of a two year contract. I plan to put my 6+ on the Verizon Edge thingy. Verizon told me at their store that by trading my 5S into them I won't have to pay an early termination fee for the contract and that I'd just have to pay to get the 6+ set up on Edge at that point. I'm reeeaally not interested in waiting them to get the 6+ in stock though because it seems like the carrier stores aren't getting them for some time. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this whole process at the Apple Store where they'd have better stock? So I need to cancel the two year contract (the fee for which would be waived by trading in my 5S) and then have the 6+ activated on Edge. Thanks!
