Cancel order faster with Apple than ATT/Verizon?

Crazy I know, but not sure I can wait two weeks, so thinking of canceling my ATT iPhone 6+ preorder I got from Apple.com. Will Apple be able to near instantly cancel my Apple.com order and then let me order at the store on 9/19? (I do plan to be in line early, LOL.)
