Cancel order from att.com and order directly thru apple.com?

Wanted to get some advice from you guys. I ordered an IP6 64 At&t thru att.com on the 11th. It still says estimated ship date 10/30 - 11/10. I'm afraid that when 10/30 comes around, the shipping date will change to something later. Should I just cancel my order now and order directly thru apple.com? Or should I just wait it out at this point?
