cancel sending mail ??

there used to be a cancel button in the activity window of mail - now there does not seem to be a way to cancel a mail after you hit send - if I forget to attach docs I have no way of cancelling the send (therefore saving me the embarrassment of sending a second email with the attachment!)

So it just force you to double check every email you are about to send before hitting button.
I don't know if mailbox rule can be set, to send mail, after, say, one minute.
