Right i've cancelled my order of a maxed out 21.5"

I think i'm going to pay the extra and get a 27" i5,680mx, fusion

Am I mad ?

God I hope i'm doing the right thing

God gives you wisdom to make decisions. Is this financial responsible? If yes - go for it. If not, cancel order. (If you want)

You only live once :)
If you can go for the 27 and not be financially broke go for it. If not then you might want to consider how bad you REALLY want it.

I can't speak on whether you're mad, but you sure ordered an awesome computer ; )

Curious: What ship date did you get?

Don't worry about your upgrade. Enjoy it when it arrives.

Looking forward to it now

I felt worried with the 21.5" but really excited for the 27" and 680 video card

Cant wait for the new SiM CITY on that thing MAXED out

I ordered the same exact configuration... yes, a lot of $$ but no future regrets and second-guessing myself had I ordered the 21.5. Good choice!

I was worried at first because the 27" 2011 look very very big

Looking at the new 27" the screen doesn't reflect and because its thinner somehow looks smaller

I ordered

•
3.2GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
•
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
•
1TB Fusion Drive
•
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB GDDR5

I ordered the exactly same 27" iMac and haven't felt at peace with myself. But after a long consideration (also financially) I decided I will spend so many money, and here are my reasons:

1) I have ONE desktop and not such an anoying pc tower
2) I'll have a stunning 27" monitor with a really great resolution, which is also my TV screen!
3) I can play all my games (not regularly)
4) it hopefully will last another 4 years (really hope so and is my main reason)
5) it's simply a great designed furniture which will fit in my flat :p
