Cancelling an order, $75 discount

I don't know if this goes for everyone, or if I've simply wasted too much money on Apple stuff, but when I went to cancel a black MB order this afternoon, the CSR offered me $75 off.

I almost bit, but then decided I still didn't really need the 2.0 and SuperDrive (and maybe not a MB at all...).

I was offered the same thing this morining. I cancled my MBP, i wanted the glossy screen. He told me to keep the MBP and we will give you 75 off the order because my credit card had not been charged. I didnt take the money.

What did you say when you called? When I cancelled an order all I got was a bad attitude.

I just told the CSR that I decided to go with a cheaper model (the low-end white) and he (I assume) checked a list of offers or with his supervisor. I also cancelled fairly quickly, within an hour of placing the order.
