I have a quick question regarding my preorder through the Apple website I made on the 14th at around 3 AM CST. I am currently with Sprint and I want to cancel my order with Apple, because I found out that I can easily get an iphone 5 here at my Sprint store on launch date. The rep told me if I got there at around 6 AM or earlier, I would most likely get one. (I live in Stillwater, OK - not many people in town besides OSU students and they will be at the bars :D).

My question is, if I were to cancel my order through Apple, does anyone know how long it will take to get my upgrade back with Sprint? Has anyone done this? If I were to do it now, would my upgrade be back by 8 AM on Friday?

Thanks,
JR

Is this something I can do at the store at launch date? I called Apple and they told me it was risky business because of the amount of order/cancels and that it may take over 24 hours.. decisions, decisions...
