cannibalizing memory, help confirming this?

so a few months ago, I bought this here memory kit for my late 08' 13'' macbook: http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=2E9B2B4EA5CA7304#ReviewHeader

now I have a 21.5 iMac and from the looks of it, the memory advertised here for this iMac seems to have the same specs as the one I purchased above: http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=8CFE9228A5CA7304

same specs and price it seems. the only thing that isn't identical is the "CT" number. I want to swipe ram from my macbook to my iMac's four beefy slots. will this work fine?

I'd sincerely appreciate any feedback! cheers
