cannon h20 recording in hd

i just got a cannon h20. it can record in hd using imovie can it be burned off onto a dvd in hd? is there any articles about camcorder recording for beginners?

If you mean video DVD (DVD stands for Digital Versatile Disk) by DVD, the one you buy in a store with a movie on it, the answer is no, as video DVDs are only meant for SD (Standard Definition) video.

If you have DVD player that is capable of also playing files like .avi, .mp4 or .mkv, you might take a look at the manual of that DVD player and see if it is possible to play HD content on it via some file.
