This is really odd.
For the past few days (over the weekend), I've had no access to apple.com. I can access me.com and if google returns a link to an Apple discussion forum, I can access that, but not apple.com or any subdomain that hangs off that (e.g., apple.com/support).
Tried three different browsers (DevonAGENT, FF, Safari 4) and each time it just stalls at "connecting to ....". No other website is affected.
The issue survives a restart of the computer, a cold boot of my modem/router, and a permission repair.
The odd thing is that, with my iPod touch on wifi on the same network, I can access to any Apple page, so I'm thinking it can't be a router issue. As well, access to apple.com and all subdomains works on my Windows partition using Firefox.
I'm baffled.
EDITED TO ADD: Resolved. apple.com working again, although still not sure why was working on my Touch for at least a day and not on the MBP.
