Hi

I'm getting really weird behavior on Safari on my MacOS. Whenever I search in the address bar of Safari, it just hangs. The command isn't reaching google for some reason. If I put an actual web address, it all works fine. I can't access gmail though with the exact address.

I can't remember making any special changes on the machine.
MacOS 12.1
Macbook Pro 14"

Preferences --> Privacy --> Remove all website data
Also, find there Developer Mode, after that Develop --> Empty Caches
And spear on extensions

Indeed, you should look after Profile:  –> System Preferences –> Profiles (but before that look after menu bar –>View –> Customise profiles section)
And Internet settings (create a new location, check for proxy, or unknown DNS), apps...brief there are plenty that can cause such behavior
Download another browser to see what will be in there. Install, restart Mac, and check it. If everything is in one piece and without google blocking, means that problem persists with Safari only. Full Safari reset or reinstall macOS as a last resort

I've got the same issue :(. All the advise about internet setting, reboot, etc. didn't work for me :(:(. I found turning off private relay helped a little. Still not perfect though, so using Firefox for many sites.
