Cannot access iTunes library after Lion /iTunes 10.4 upgrade

Hi,
I've just upgraded to Lion as well as upgrading to iTunes to 10.4. I cannot open my iTunes library on my HDD now but my local iTunes library has upgraded fine and can be accessed. I noticed that my local iTunes library file has now become an itl file. I was wondering if I need to convert my external library to itl then? If so how do I do that? Or is there a more simple solution to this which i'm missing?

I am having the exact same problem...

When I opt+click to open the iTunes library file on my external hard drive it is greyed out...it doesn't let me select it.

I'm not sure how to proceed. Does anyone have tips/information?
