Hey everyone,

I've been trying to boot my Macbook form my external hard drive, but I'm unable to do so. Whenever I try to boot from an external source or try to reformat using the recovery discs, it gives me 3 beeps stuck on the Apple logo screen. Somebody told me there's a problem with the ram modules, so I replaced them with brand new ram from OWC, and now the same problem occurs. The Macbook functions completely fine, and runs excellent. Everything's been updated, including the OS.

I already went to the Genius Bar the first time when I had to reformat, and all all the guy did was use his network cables there to do so and said the problem would disappear. The rep did not even use the discs.

What are my options? Any suggestions?
I'm thinking of going back now to the Apple Store, but just wanted any input before I do.

Thanks
