iPod Cannot change order of songs on shuffle

I am trying to change the order of my songs on the shuffle but it won't let me. Any advice?

The order of the songs? None of the iPods can change the order of the songs . You do that in iTunes.

I mean changing the order of songs in itunes. I'm making a playlist but I want to put them in a certain order. I was able to do it with my last shuffle?

If you are changing the order of songs in a playlist,just click and drag them to the position you want.

I understand that but its not letting me change the position of the songs in Itunes

Make sure you click the column header that has the numbers so it's sorted. Then drag and drop.

^^that, and also make sure the playlist isn't set to shuffle in iTunes, that also stops you from being able to change the track order.
