Hi @ll,

I got this issue with some external 2,5" disks on regular USB2/3 cases :
1) At Gimp I edit an image with transparency such as the real case image so it's easy to know which case to eject when working with multiple ones;
2) Go to icon's properties, click on icon image and then Finder->Edit->Paste

If works fine. And then I tried to do the same with another USB disk and selecting another image on Gimp and did the sames above mentioned, but the pasted image is the 1st one.

Did Finder->Edit->Show clipboard and it presents the second image.

Deleted the bad image from icon info window of the second USB Disk by selecting it and Finder->Edit->Cut.

Again, Finder->Edit->Show clipboard still presents the second image and not the cuted one.

It's absolutelly crazy... but it's like it.

Opened Terminal, run sudo su - and gone to /Volumes/<usb disk label>/ and theres the regular files to make icon image works : ._. , ._.VolumeIcon.icns and .VolumeIcon.icns .

Copied that .VolumeIcon.icns to my Desktop as .png ... open it and the correct (2nd usb case logo) is there.

Seems to be a bug on Finder, right?
How can I fix it?
