I have a 2007 pro and it came without a battery.

So bought a genuine used one on ebay.

206 cycles and 97% health.

But says charging with 1.0 watts and 3 days to charge.

I removed battery and held power button for 5 seconds to do SMC reset.

What can I do?

Well I let it plugged in all nigh with laptop off.

It has charged.

On battery now at work, at 85% and coconut battery claims 2 hours and 15 mins remaining.

It is 7.3 years old an only 206 cycles.

I thought be good buy a genuine than a unknown compatible from ebay.

It is kinda usable on battery and I usually carry an charger as use same 85W charger for both my macbooks.

I have given it a few full cycles to point it powers off.

Now capacity is 6273 of the original 6300

Not bad for a 7.3 year old battery.
