iPhone 12 Cannot choose photos to share via gmail.

New Iphone 12. I take photos of stuff and I go to the photos, select them, then press the up arrow icon thing to share, then pops up many apps...I choose GMAIL so i can email it to myself, but then a gmail window pops up and then disappears. so I can't do it... why?

Works fine on 12p and iPP. Try reinstalling gmail.
